People to People Ambassador Programs
The People to People Student Ambassador Program was a travel service based in Spokane, Washington, offering domestic and international travel opportunities to middle and high school students. The group was founded in 1956, during the Eisenhower administration, and reincorporated in 1995. After 13 years People to People went through a brand update. Our mission was to infuse a breath of fresh air into our brand identity while ensuring that the essence that our audience had grown to recognize and connect with remained intact. Through thoughtful refinements in color palette, typography, and visual elements, we reinvigorated our brand's appearance without straying too far from what had made us distinct. This strategic approach allowed us to evolve while maintaining that vital thread of familiarity, ultimately ensuring that our loyal customers could embrace the changes with a sense of continuity and excitement.
Ambassador Alum Magazine
With more than half of the People to People Ambassador program participants having prior travel experience with the company, targeting the Alumni travelers proved to be a strategic move in our marketing efforts. The "Ambassador Alum" was an online magazine that did just that. Our task was to seamlessly meld the traditional charm of print magazines with the interactive capabilities of digital. Through careful layout, typography, and interactive elements, we aimed to create an immersive storytelling experience. Our goal was to captivate readers, offering an innovative platform for sharing stories among alumni of the People to People Ambassador Program.
Student Ambassador Magazine
The Ambassador Magazine served as our yearly publication catering to new, returning, and prospective student ambassadors. This project stood out as my annual highlight, with each article being meticulously crafted. The content covered a wide range of topics, including packing tips, college application guidance, program funding assistance, and more.
